When the water is warmer and the fish are a little deeper these flies will help to get you down to the fish. We fish them much like a jig with a conventional rod. Right no the bottom. These flies are a must for float tube, pontoon boats or anything that puts you in deeper water early and late in the season.

The Tuna Can gets its name from the shape of its head. (and from some old stories from the lake) We hammered fish on this fly last year in its experimental stages and we fine tuned it for our online store. The Flat shaped head and angle make the fly ride differently and jig with much more action and the fish can not stay away. There are three colors and they all work!

One of – if not the best indicator pattern at Pyramid Lake. This fly is a must for any Stillwater angler. Best if used as the bottom fly on a two fly rig. The Holographic Tinsel makes the fly shine in deeper water and the copper bead and black band give the fly perfect contrast. This fly is tied on a long shank hook to imitate the body of a blood midge. This is one of the best Blood Midge patterns we have used at almost every Stillwater where Blood Midges are found. It comes in size 12. Our #2 selling Chironomid  for the last two years.
