Sorry for the lack of info over the last week or so. I have been out at the lake a bunch with clients. Friday was not too bad for us, i had two anglers catch 14 fish in about 7 hours. We did pretty good compared to everyone else we saw. The average was 0-4 fish an angler per day. Saturday was slow. 3 anglers 8 hours 15 fish. We only saw one other fish caught all day. I will update the fishing report today.

I just heard from a fishing pal about your web site. Great place!
I am planning to meet and fish with 3 different sets of friends starting the weekend of May 5 thru May 8. One of the guys is a newbie to Pyramid. My understanding is that Pyramid has been a real challenge for most this season. Given that, do you see anything on the horizon that would bring about better action within my dates?
The newbie is coming in from Florida and only has a couple of days to devote to fishing, so I want to make the most of his time in regard to where I take him. We are not “ladder” guys, but we all will have kickboats and have a variety of lines to fish different depths. What would you advise?
Thanks for you input!
Ric
Ric,
It is tough. I had two guyus out on Saturday and we caught one fish from a drift boat. Hopefully it gets better but who knows. Toughest year I can remember. Water temps should be good. Ladder fishing is tough because most of the beaches are too deep to get out to the ledge.
Hopefully you have better luck in May. April was aweful.
